Re-tasting wines already reviewed

There are special cases where a wine may be reviewed more than once, particularly if it is a older vintage or a non-vintage wine.

In general, wines are only reviewed once. However, we will review a wine that has been already reviewed, if it was last tasted more than 2 years ago.
We may also re-taste a wine upon request. However, do not resubmit wines that has been already reviewed, unless we have agreed to re-taste the wine.
We do not guarantee that wines will be reviewed more than once.

Non-vintage wines:
  • Fortified, non-vintage wines should be submitted and reviewed every 2 years.
  • Non-fortified, non-vintage wines should be submitted and reviewed every year. This guideline applies to sparkling wines in particular.
