We send out email notifications within a week of the review being available on The Real Review. Tasting notes are published on a weekly cycle.
When wine samples are received, they are sorted into tasting groups based on wine style, grape variety or blend. A tasting session is held once there are enough wines in a group.
We endeavour to publish a tasting note within 6-8 weeks of receiving a wine sample.
As a guideline, our team tastes up to 1000 wines per month, sometimes even more.
In general, we do not publish more than one review of the same wine. We may review a past vintage of a wine that was already reviewed, but where a wine is submitted to more than one tasting room at the same time, only one review will be published at our sole discretion.
